A Note from the CoChairs... Good evening, Briarcliff families! We hope everyone is enjoying the fall season and the festive energy. There’s lots happening across our schools this week so here’s a quick roundup of what’s ahead. 🎃 Todd Halloween Fest
A huge thank you to Mrs. Boyer, Mrs. Sofer, sophomore student council president Dorentina Ivezaj, and our amazing sophomore volunteers for hosting a wonderful Halloween Fest for our Todd friends yesterday afternoon! Our tiny guests had a blast and helped the Class of 2028 raise funds for their student activities. More class-wide fundraisers are coming up for the holidays—keep an eye out for details! 🩺 CALLING ALL HEALTHCARE WORKERS! Briarcliff High School’s FutureMed Club is launching a monthly Guest Speaker Series to help students explore careers in medicine, healthcare, and life sciences. We invite Briarcliff community members - doctors, nurses, researchers, veterinarians, pharmacists, EMS, and others in healthcare - to share your experiences. Sessions are informal, 20–30 minutes, and require no prep—just come talk about your work and what inspires you. If you’d like to participate, please fill out this short form: https://forms.office.com/r/iHbDXJZA7a 📚 Author Visit – Jerry Craft
Award-winning author Jerry Craft is visiting Todd School and has graciously offered to sign additional books for our Middle Schoolers. Don’t miss this opportunity. Check out the flyer below to order by November 1! 🗓️ Parent–Teacher Conferences
A quick reminder: Parent–Teacher Conferences are coming up soon. Teacher-initiated meetings are being scheduled now; any remaining slots will open for parent-initiated conferences. Dates: Tuesday, Nov 4 (8 AM–3 PM) Thursday, Nov 6 (5:30–8:30 PM)

Halloween is one of the biggest nights for teen drinking and drug use. With unsupervised parties, risky behavior, and careless drivers, it can quickly turn into a scary night for families. Along with a higher risk of substance use, there’s also a danger of treats being contaminated or tampered with. Help your teen avoid the tricks this Halloween!
Keep them safe by: - Setting a curfew
- Knowing where they are and who they’re with
- Establishing a code word they can use if they need to leave a situation
- Giving them a flashlight
- Ensuring their phone is fully charged
- Checking their candy before they eat it
