A Note from the CoChairs... Good evening, Briarcliff families! Reminder that there are no classes in session this Tuesday and sign up for modified winter sports has begun. 🗓️ Parent–Teacher Conferences
A quick reminder: Parent–Teacher Conferences are coming up soon. Teacher-initiated meetings are being scheduled now; any remaining slots will open for parent-initiated conferences. Dates: Tuesday, Nov 4 (8 AM–3 PM) Thursday, Nov 6 (5:30–8:30 PM)

🩺 CALLING ALL HEALTHCARE WORKERS! Briarcliff High School’s FutureMed Club is launching a monthly Guest Speaker Series to help students explore careers in medicine, healthcare, and life sciences. We invite Briarcliff community members - doctors, nurses, researchers, veterinarians, pharmacists, EMS, and others in healthcare - to share your experiences. Sessions are informal, 20–30 minutes, and require no prep—just come talk about your work and what inspires you. Halloween is one of the biggest nights for teen drinking and drug use. With unsupervised parties, risky behavior, and careless drivers, it can quickly turn into a scary night for families. Along with a higher risk of substance use, there’s also a danger of treats being contaminated or tampered with. Help your teen avoid the tricks this Halloween!
Keep them safe by: - Setting a curfew
- Knowing where they are and who they’re with
- Establishing a code word they can use if they need to leave a situation
- Giving them a flashlight
- Ensuring their phone is fully charged
- Checking their candy before they eat it
